The 805 is best known for a Mediterranean climate that’s described as the best in the world, Ventura County is a place most people see depicted only in travel and vacation brochures.  I’m proud to say that my family and I feel so spoiled and blessed to call The Gold Coast our home.

Located away from the hustle and congestion of Los Angeles, yet only a 50 minute drive to LA’s International Airport and downtown.  The local communities enjoy ideal living and working conditions and close proximity to local beaches and other major Southern California attractions.

This sundrenched coastline is one of the most diverse and picturesque regions in the country. You can explore sprawling beaches that stretch for miles, two bustling harbors, hundreds of square miles of pristine natural and state parks, as well as the exquisite Channel Islands National Park. Ventura’s unique landscape has also become an outdoor adventurer’s haven for boating, surfing, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking.

Ventura County is bordered by 43 miles of coastline and sunny beaches, and surrounded by miles of state and national parks that protect the natural environment for all types of recreational uses. The county covers 1,873 square miles, bordered by the Pacific Ocean, Los Angeles County, Kern County and Santa Barbara County. The Las Padres National Forest encompasses most of the northern half of the county, and Lakes Casitas and Piru are roughly at each end of the county. Public beaches cover nearly 7.5 miles of the county’s shoreline, while state beach parks cover 411 acres.
